one moment – with Hampton (at 1:00am)

In between weddings, it was time for a quick post of Hampton, our trusty companion and loyal friend.  I decided to take a few photographs for my review of the Canon 5D Mark III camera.  I’m not going to write a lot.  I don’t need to.

I’m not interested in too much of anything other than how the camera responds (autofocus, etc.), and image quality.  I have no complaints – all good things for this camera and worth every penny for a number of reasons, including my nine out of ten star rating on  intuitiveness.  A big thumbs up to Canon for making this camera a powerhouse for its class.  This was taken at ISO 12800 at 1:00am in a dark room lit only by a vintage nineteen inch television.  No adjustments other than white balance and sizing down the image for the blog.  The look on Hampton says it all…..Why are you waking me up to play with a camera at this hour?  My response?   Well……my wife was sleeping just behind him and I thought he was the better choice of the two to wake up at 1:00am to photograph.  🙂
