I don’t normally post images without people, but there is a story behind this photo. In between the wedding and the family formals, I was running out of the area to the right of the main building where the guests were greeting each other, heading into the sanctuary of the church. It was evident that I was in that window of wonderful light about twenty minutes past sunset with a blue in the sky that would fade only minutes later. I stopped, placed the camera on a tripod, made two time exposures, and ran back into the church. I love the colors of this time of day and the red door which obviously becomes the center of interest. I love winter weddings! There is something very elegant and timeless about placing wreaths on the building as decoration. They add something simple and classy to the building.
