The light was beautiful this evening at King Family Vineyards for Cassandra and Keith’s wedding, so we decided to head into the barn and spend a few moments with the light.

How Cassandra and Keith met: We met while we both worked at the Massachusetts Attorney General’s offices. We were in different divisions but our desks were about 10 feet apart and we got to know each through friendly chitchat in the halls. That blossomed into what we have today!
Keith proposed Cassandra last summer during 4th of July weekend. He picked her up after work and surprised her by having an overnight bag packed for both of them and driving directly to Portsmouth, NH, which is a city that holds a special place in their heart. He booked a room at one of their favorite inns and had flowers and champagne waiting in the room for her. They went to dinner at the Black Trumpet, a restaurant overlooking the harbor and which they had always wanted to try. Keith had reserved a table by the window and just sweetly and quietly proposed to Cassandra during dinner. She said yes and then they walked around the city and watched the fireworks for independence day.
Cassandra just finished law school and will be studying for the bar exam this summer before starting a clerkship with a federal judge in Pennsylvania in the fall. Keith works in energy research and consulting.
