Capturing people. I’m not sure how to say more, but it is the feeling and emotions I want to bring back to a bride and groom when they view their images. I was keeping my eye on these two throughout the ceremony and though I quite frequently post classic black and white images when I blog, I thought about switching gears and showing a color post. Without question, this would have made an attractive and pure black and white….it would have kept the moment in a classic form. I wanted to show an available light image, captured at a high ISO and shown with minimal adjustments for fine art printing. There is something I really like about an image touched very lightly, with minimal changes and not an overabundance of Photoshop actions and adjustments and I wanted to show a color image using this approach. It’s what I prefer when editing color photographs.
