OK…it’s not every day that Monte Durham, Fashion director on TLC‘s “Say Yes to the Dress,” knocks on the door while the bride is getting ready to say yes to her dress. This was a complete surprise to Tina. Check out the moments below:
The Omni Homestead, our nations oldest resort, provided the setting for this wonderful afternoon. It was so fun to hear Tina talk about how she watched “Say Yes to the Dress” and how it would be amazing if Monte Durham would stop by her wedding (she heard he was in town and actually stopped him to get a selfie earlier in the week). Well, little did she know, he arrived at HER ROOM (!!!) and surprised everyone! (On a side note, I really like that blazer!). Tina’s reactions are priceless! Many more to come! 🙂
Caitlyn and Russell were married at The Homestead and we really enjoyed our time with them. This is a quick sneak peak of Caitlyn walking down the steps of one of our nations most historic Continue reading
Normally in my “one moment” posts, I like to show moments that make each wedding unique – however, I’m going to go away from the norm and simply explain that being next to an ice skating rink and a pool with temperatures hovering at 15 degrees gave us a wonderful environment to photograph…I love the steam. I can’t tell you how cold I ended up with no coat and my hands carrying metal….it was worth every second!
Genny and Alex had a wonderful wedding this past April and the post I chose for our “One Moment” feature showcases guests on the dance floor. This image contains some dramatic lighting with, quite simply put, a good time Continue reading
Kim and Brian’s wedding at The Homestead in Hot Springs, Virginia gave us an excellent time to show the wonderful Crystal Ballroom and all of its splendor and style.
Quite often, when blogging, I enjoy showing unique moments. One can often forget one of the most important documentary captures of the day…..the bride and groom recessing down the isle just after exchanging vows. Facing the congregation and walking out of the church can lend itself to wonderful expressions. Jacqui and Lee’s faces say it all in this color image in Hot Springs, Virginia.
