one moment – with Cynthia and Dan at The Clifton Inn

In the middle of the wedding ceremony at The Clifton Inn, this image presented itself.  It is a wedding detail……and it is different.  It was first presented to the audience of guests and you can tell by Dan’s smile that he knows what it says and Cynthia is not quite sure what the long piece of paper contains.

one moment – Susan and Stephan

There are times when everything comes together for a portrait session – this image is an example of such combining a wonderful evening, low light, purple mountains, and a stunning couple.  Just after they were married, Susan, Stephan, and I (and a very helpful bridesmaid) ventured into the vines and spent approximately ten minutes in this luminous landscape at Veritas.  One of the captured photographs is above.

one moment – with a dress and a dog

I was photographing a tighter detail shot of Monica’s dress while she was walking……out of the corner of my eye, I saw our furry friend pop into the frame, depressed the shutter release, and this image was the result.

one moment – the first look

Paul eagerly awaits his time to turn around and see Monica in her dress for the first time.  I love that you can see Veritas and all of the lines and shapes that make up the venue.  The adirondack chairs, the windows, and most importantly, Monica walking out of the door allow the viewer to see everything about the day.  If you look closely, you can see a hint of a cloudy sky – as a thunderstorm wasn’t too far away.
